Join us for a happy hour and intimate discussion with Jill Abramson on her new book, Merchants of Truth: The Business of News and The Fight for Facts. Prize-winning journalist Jill Abramson takes readers deep into the story of the news business, fighting for survival through a series of crises—first the digital revolution and great recession, and then the President’s unprecedented war on the press. This is the definitive report on the disruption and radical adjustment of the news media over the last decade, as four news companies confront cataclysmic changes in technology, economics, standards, commitment, and endurance that pits old media versus new.
